March 22, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #23 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #16-0280 FOR SPORTING AND ATHLETIC GOODS - WAREHOUSE Description Bids to provide 'Sporting and Athletic Goods - Warehouse' were received from nine vendors on February 11, 2016. The bids of BSN Sports, Passon's Sports, and US Games, Pyramid School Products, S&S Worldwide, Inc., and School Specialty were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications. Reasons for not selecting the apparent low bid are included with the bid tabulation. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. Funds for these purchases are contained in the operating budgets of the schools. Recommendation That the bids of BSN Sports, Passon's Sports, and US Games, Pyramid School Products, S&S Worldwide, Inc., and School Specialty to provide 'Sporting and Athletic Goods - Warehouse' in an amount not to exceed $60,000.00, be approved as presented.
